CADRC team secures continued NIH funding

Jonathan L. Haines Professor and Chairman, Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences

“This Cleveland center is uniquely positioned to contribute significantly to the national Alzheimer’s research agenda,” ...

... notes Jonathan L. Haines, PhD, Department Chair, and Data Management and Statistics Core Leader for the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (CADRC).

The CADRC just received $15.4 million in continued NIH funding to support multi-institution collaborative research into Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. It is one of 31 NIH-funded centers in the country that translate research advances into improved diagnosis, treatment – and eventual prevention.

Haines also serves as the founding Director of the Cleveland Institute for Computational Biology, a convening institute for multi-institution, interdisciplinary research.
