Congratulations to Kara Quaid!
Kara, a BS/MS in Biostatistics student, received an Honorable Mention Summer Student Award for her work at the National Institute of Neurological Disorder and Stroke (NINDS) at the National Institute of Health as intern this past summer. Kara won the award as a result of the outstanding quality of her research and presentation at the NIH summer poster day.
If you are interested in seeing her poster, a copy of the poster will be displayed on the Department Bulletin Board in the Wood Building across from WG-57.
