Mark Cameron Comments to the BBC on Daily COVID Toll

It's crystal clear … the common thread throughout the Omicron wave is that it is largely impacting the unvaccinated, in terms of severity of illness, hospitalisation rates and indeed, risk of dying from the infection.   

Mark Cameron, PhD, recently commented to the BBC on the current daily Omicron/COVID death toll, which now matches the daily toll from earlier this fall when Delta was the main strain. 

As the BBC reporter notes, statistics suggest that the unvaccinated are approximately 100 times more likely to die from Covid-19 than those who have been vaccinated and boosted.
