Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Core Facilities are scientific service centers that support research by providing state-of-the-art equipment, technology, and services that are costly and/or very technical and not practical for each lab to provide. Currently there are over 40 Service Centers providing research services and technologies to CWRU and external investigators. Operating as fee-for-service facilities, Cores utilize a wide range of business practices, operating procedures, and software solutions.
