We’re taking a break, just like you! FYI will return in the Spring. As you finish up finals and prepare for a restful break please make note of these important dates.
Notable dates include:
- Friday, Dec. 15—Reading day
- Wednesday, Dec. 20—Final exams end, dining halls close at 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 21—Residence halls close for winter break at 3 p.m. (except Upper-Class Experience apartment-style housing)
- Friday, Dec. 22—Final grades due by 11 a.m.
- Friday, Dec. 22 to Monday, Jan. 1—University closed for winter recess
- Thursday, Jan. 11—Residence halls open at 9 a.m.
- Sunday, Jan. 14—Dining halls open and meal plans begin at 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, Jan 15—Martin Luther King Jr. holiday (no classes/university closed)
- Tuesday, Jan. 16—First day of spring semester classes
- Friday, Jan. 26—Drop/add deadline for the spring semester
