Learn more about Academic Support Resources for Students

Although you are in control of your educational experience and success at CWRU, you are not alone in this journey. The Academic Support Resources for Students office is here to empower you to achieve your potential as an active, confident and independent learner.

Our office offers Academic Coaching, Peer Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions, and resources for non-native English speakers.

We are located in Sears 247 down the hall from the Career Center. Academic Coaching sessions are personalized meetings to discuss reading, note-taking, test-preparation, time management or other academic strategies. We will help you better understand your current practices and assist you in modifying them to achieve your goals.

Peer Tutoring is available for over 150 CWRU undergraduate courses. You can search and schedule appointments at tutortrac.case.edu.

SI sessions are a great way to connect with other students and engage in your course material. SI leaders will communicate with you regarding sessions, however additional information can be found here

English Language Resources for non-native English speakers include weekly conversation hours, UNIV 102 and UNIV 103, as well as individual consultations to improve pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.
