Payment Plans

The university makes available three payment plan options.

TMS and E-Z Payment plans are pre-payments or installments towards your educational expenses. It is a monthly budgeting tool only.  The university will notify plan participants of under/over budget amounts before the due date so you can plan accordingly.  The Extended E-Z Payment Plan allows you to make two monthly payments past the semester's due date.

To enroll in the spring plan, your account must not have an outstanding prior balance. The university has the right to cancel your enrollment in the payment plan.

Tuition Management Systems (TMS)

The university partners with Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to offer a monthly budgeting plan for payment towards your education expenses.  Payments are automatically withdrawn on the 10th of each month.  This payment plan includes personal account service and counseling, automated account information 24 hours a day, access to your payment plan account through their web site,

E-Z Payment Plan

Tuition Made E-Z payment plan is also a monthly budgeting plan.  Payments are automatically withdrawn on the 15th of each month for up to four months per semester.  If the withdrawal date falls on a non-business day, deductions will be made the following business day.    

  • Fall semester: June 15 through Sept. 15
  • Spring semester: Oct. 15 through Jan. 15      

Tuition Made E-Z works like this:

  1. Complete the authorization agreement form.
  2. Indicate the payer’s name. NOTE: Payer must be an authorized user to the student’s Student Information System (SIS) account.
  3. Indicate the student’s name and 7-digit CWRU ID number.
  4. Indicate your Monthly Withdrawal amount.  Our staff is available to help with determining the amount.
  5. Submit a copy of voided check for a checking account or voided deposit slip for a savings account.
  6. Return the completed authorization to Student Financial Services, 10900 Euclid Avenue, Yost Hall #145, Cleveland, OH  44106-7043, or fax to 216.368.1929.  NOTE: Do NOT email the form. Emailing this form is unsecure and will not be accepted.

Tuition Made E-Z begins when the authorization process is complete. You will receive an email confirmation of enrollment at least 10-days before the first scheduled withdrawal.  Your payment will be electronically transferred on the 15th of each month and itemized on your bank statement. There is a 10-day verification process before the first payment is approved for the automatic payment. Authorization forms should be in our office at least 10 days prior to the automatic withdrawal date.

Extended E-Z Payment Plan

You can extend your tuition payment plan by two months. You do not need to be enrolled in the TMS or E-Z plans to take advantage of the Extended E-Z plan. There will be a 2.7% fee added to your plan and account, if enrolled. The plan would run from October through November for the Fall semester and from February to March for the Spring semester.
