Experience a vibrant evening of music with Amusements & Divertissements, a concert by the Symphonic Winds. This eclectic program includes William Walton’s majestic Crown Imperial, the dynamic rhythms of Syzygy Flowby Katahj Copley, and the festive energy of Caribana Afterparty by Omar Thomas. Adding humor and charm, P.D.Q. Bach’s Grand Serenade offers a playful twist, while La Chancla by Dennis Llinás concludes the program with the zest and flair of a good merengue. Join us for a night of captivating performances that celebrate the joy and diversity of wind ensemble music.

Location

This performance is part of the Silver Hall Concert Series at the Maltz Performing Arts Center, featuring the Case Western Reserve University Department of Music Ensembles alongside a variety of local groups, soloists, and acts. The series highlights the rich cultural diversity and immense talent flowing through the city.
