Student Spotlight: Scott Vazquez, Class of 2019

My name is Scott Vazquez, and I am in my second year in the Master of Science in Anesthesia Program at Case Western Reserve University's Washington, D.C. location.

I am currently on my obstetrics rotation at Georgetown University Hospital, where I am given ample opportunities to perfect different skills while gaining valuable experience with pregnant patients.

Although this program does keep me busy, I still make time for fun activities. I love going to local breweries here in the District and trying different craft beers that are fresh from the source. My advice to incoming students is to always make time for yourself. Make sure you manage your time wisely so that you can go out and do something you enjoy at least once a week.

About this post: The Student Spotlight series highlights MSA students in their second year of coursework in Cleveland, Houston, and Washington. The series is a student-led initiative, and is designed to share current student experiences with prospective students.
