On January 19, 2017, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) awarded our Master of Science in Anesthesia Program site in Washington, D.C. continuing accreditation for five years, the longest duration that the CAAHEP grants. The CAAHEP found our site in D.C. upholds the highest educational standards. This is an honor for our Washington faculty and staff, who have shown a constant commitment to improving the quality of the education they provide.

These accreditation standards are established by CAAHEP, ARC-AA, American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAAA), and American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA). The MSA Program at CWRU follows these standards to further our vision to educate the finest anesthetists in the world. Our instructors train students to graduate at the top of their field. We dedicate ourselves to giving our students the best preparation so that they will be ready to provide the highest quality care to patients.

Congratulations to Shane Angus, CAA, Program Director of our Washington location; Carlos Saldana, MFA, Education Manager of our Washington location; and to all of our administrators, faculty, and staff in the District!
