Houston Blood Drive

Houston Blood Drive

Each year, the Houston location organizes a blood drive to support critical healthcare needs. This year's event took place on Monday, November 25, during the week of Thanksgiving. Partnering with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, the drive ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and garnered strong participation from faculty and students.

The drive resulted in 25 donations, including whole blood, plasma (with donors contributing two units while red blood cells were returned), and red blood cells (where donors gave double the usual amount of blood, with plasma being returned), depending on donors' blood types.

This annual event underscores the Houston community's dedication to making a meaningful impact, particularly during the holiday season, by helping ensure a steady blood supply for those in need.
