Every year the MSA program attends the annual conference of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), an educational, research and scientific association of physician anesthesiologists and anesthesia care team members. With over 57,000 members, the ASA endeavors to raise the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology and to improve patient care.
This year, the annual conference is being held in Philadelphia, PA on October 18-22 and will be attended by program and student leaders from all four campus locations. Because of Philadelphia's proximity to Washington, DC, all students from the Washington, DC campus have been invited to join for the first time as well. Students will have the opportunity to attend clinical training and lectures, engage with potential employers, and build up their growing set of professional skills.
On Friday evening, the MSA Program will also host its annual "Mix & Mingle" networking event at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Current and potential hospital and physician anesthesiologist group partners from across the country are invited to join for an evening of art and anesthesiology!
