Program of Study for Students with an Advanced Research Degree

The proposed curriculum consists of a minimum of 36 credit hours (dependent on approved exempted coursework): 18 credit hours of courses (at least 12 must be graded) and 18 credit hours of dissertation research.*

* Students with an advanced research degree may be exempted from required courses as appropriate and substitute them with elective coursework. Per School of Graduate Studies’ requirements, they must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours of coursework, of which 12 credit hours must be graded.
