Additional Information
I enjoy exploring the use of regional anesthesia and non-opioid adjuvants. I also have a passion for minimizing the rates of opioid addiction in the patient population, whose opioid use begin in the peri-operative period. Healthcare providers, specifically anesthesia providers can have an instrumental impact on reducing the need for opioids in the post-operative period and can control many factors that influence the development of chronic pain. I also enjoy providing career preparations for our senior students.
