Sara L. Douglas, PhD, RN, the Gertrude Perkins Oliva Professor in Oncology Nursing, was awarded a research grant from the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health for her study, “Improving Understanding of Quality End of Life Care Using a Dyadic Approach.”
Andrew Reimer, PhD, RN, CFRN, FAAN, associate professor, was awarded an R21 grant from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities/National Institutes of Health for his study, “Using Spatial Analytics and Social Determinants of Health to Redefine Critical Access to Medical Transport Services for Rural Populations.”

Mary Dolansky, PhD, RN, FAAN, associate professor, was awarded the 2023 Isabel Hampton Robb Award for Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Practice from the National League for Nursing.
