Carol Savrin, DNP, CPNP-PC, FNP-BC, FAANP, associate professor, was recognized with the 2023 Presidential Commendation for Service from the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).
Chris Winkelman, PhD, RN, ACNP, FAANP, FCCM, CCRN, CNE, associate professor, was honored with the Professional Achievement Award from the College of Nursing at Marquette University.
Mary Dolansky, PhD, RN, FAAN, associate professor, was awarded the 2023 Amy J. Berman Geriatric Nursing Leadership Award from Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma).
Rebecca M. Patton, DNP, RN, CNOR, FAAN, assistant professor and the Lucy Jo Atkinson Professorship in Perioperative Nursing, was given the 2023 Capstone International Book Award for Nurses Making Policy: From Bedside to Boardroom, from Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma).
Shanina C. Knighton, PhD, RN, CIC, associate professor, has been honored as a 2023 Veale Faculty Fellow by the Veale Institute of Entrepreneurship at Case Western Reserve University.
Christine Horvat Davey, PhD, RN, assistant professor, was awarded a research grant from the Center for AIDS Research at the University of Alabama for her HIV and Aging Research Consortium Pilot Program study, “Relationship of Insomnia, Inflammatory Markers and Neurocognitive Function in Aging People with HIV.”
