School of Nursing faculty set to receive 2025 MNRS awards

The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing is proud to announce several awards to be presented to faculty members at the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS).

Jaclene Zauszniewski

Jaclene Zauszniewski, professor and interim PhD program director, will be recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the MNRS. The award will be presented to Zauszniewski at the MNRS Annual Conference Award Ceremony in Indianapolis in March.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an MNRS member who has significantly advanced the profession of nursing either through an extensive program of research or creation of environments where research can flourish, and whose sustained leadership and distinguished career yielded outstanding and noteworthy accomplishments.

Zauszniewski, will also be recognized with the Gerontological Nursing Research Interest and Implementation Group (RIIG) Senior Career Award. The award recognizes her positive impact on the field of gerontological nursing.

Carolyn Harmon Still, associate professor and assistant dean for research, has recently been honored with the 2025 MNRS Excellence in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Award.

The award was established to recognize the contribution of a member who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and made significant contributions to advance equitable health outcomes and reduce health disparities through research that has enhanced the science and practice of nursing in the MNRS region.

Kylie Meyer, assistant professor, will be awarded the MNRS Gerontological Nursing RIIG Early Career Award in 2025. The award recognizes her dedication, hard work, and excellence in the field of gerontology. Good work, Kylie!
