For your safety and the safety of others, masks are currently required on shuttles.

We also ask that you please consider practicing social distancing when possible.

Shuttle routes are designed for convenience.

Shuttle Tracking

CWRU, University Circle Inc., and University Hospitals have deployed the TransLoc Rider System. The system includes signs in the following locations that will let you know when the next bus will arrive:

TransLoc Shuttle Tracker App

The CWRU community has a variety of transportation options, and some have recently changed. See the maps for more details and to find the best route for you! Route stops are marked with signs on campus. You must be at a designated stop to be picked up, and drivers are instructed to only drop off at designated stops for your safety and theirs. 

 

Commuter Shuttle

The Commuter Shuttle provides Service approximately every 15 minutes or less from 6:00 am-9: 00 pm Monday – Friday. Three shuttles are running during morning peak hours: 6:45 am - 9:30 am. Two shuttles are running during non-peak hours. It does not typically run on major holidays. 

 

Circle Link Route – /BlueLink

The BlueLink connects Wade Oval, Uptown, Little Italy, Coventry, and provides access to Little Italy - University Circle Rapid Station. BlueLink shuttles arrive every 30 minutes 6:30 am - 6:00 pm (Mon-Fri) and 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm weekends.

 

Circle Link Route – GreenLink

The GreenLink connects the Cedar-University Circle Rapid Station to the University Hospitals and CWRU campuses. GreenLink service runs on a continuous loop between CWRU North and South campuses. Two shuttles are running during peak hours: 6:30 am - 10:00 am and 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm. One shuttle during non- peak hours. The GreenLink shuttle arrives every 15 minutes during peak and 30 minutes during peak non-peak.

 

Heights AM

The Heights AM loop runs about every 25 minutes from 7:00 am-11: 00 am Monday – Friday. There is no service on this route on holidays or during breaks; the route only runs when classes are in session. 

 

Evening Shuttles – North Loop

Evening North Loop runs continuously from 5:15 pm- 3: 00 am. Service for the evening is reduced during school breaks, on holidays, and during the summer. There is no service on major holidays. The Evening North buses arrive at their stops about every 20 minutes or less. 

 

Evening Shuttles – South Loop

Evening South Loop runs continuously from 5:15 pm- 12: 30 am. Service for the evening is reduced during school breaks, on holidays, and during the summer. There is no service on major holidays. The Evening South buses arrive at their stops about every 25 minutes or less. 

 

UCRC

 

The UCRC buses arrive at designated stops approximately every 23 minutes from 5:15 am-11: 30 pm Monday – Friday, but not on major holidays. Stops are made on an on-call basis for Ronald McDonald's house and lot 50 after 7:30 pm. 

 

KSL Express

The KSL express route with stops at Juniper residence halls, Kelvin Smith Library (East Boulevard), Fribley Commons, and Veale Center/One to One Fitness Center from 5:15 pm - 3 am. The shuttle runs a continuous loop every 12 - 17 minutes during the academic year.

 

Target/Walmart Express

The Target /Walmart Express route operates on Saturdays while classes are in session. Leaves from Wade commons hourly from 9 am-noon arriving at Target at 10:30 am - 1:30 pm. The stops are Wade commons, Fribley Commons, Target, and Walmart. To request a seat via email at spplusshuttlereservation@gmail.com

 

Cedar Hill Express 

The  Cedar Hill Express (Dave's Market) operates Thursday through Sunday from 3 – 9 p.m., beginning on May 14. Students can find shuttle stops outside of Wade Commons along Juniper Road and outside of Fribley Commons at the intersection of Murray Hill Road and Fairchild Avenue. The route runs continuously on a loop every 30 minutes, with the last pick-up at the supermarket at 9 p.m.

 

Health Education Campus Shuttles

HEC Main Route

The Main route runs continuously beginning at 6:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Service will be increased during peak times (7:30 am - 9:30 am and 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm).

The shuttle stops at:

  • Samson Pavilion
  • Crawford Hall (street)
  •  Kent Hale Smith 
  • Cornell Rd
  • Kelvin Smith Library

This full route will take approximately 15 minutes with light traffic, and 19 minutes with heavy traffic. Two shuttles will run continuously, with a third shuttle during peak times.

Nursing Route

This specific route will offer shuttles serving nursing students' specific class schedules to ensure they can travel between the main campus and Samson Pavilion in a timely manner. It will runs on a continuous loop beginning one hour before the first class and ending one hour after the final class of the day. The shuttle will begin each day one heading north on Ford Rd and the other going south on Adelbert. The Nursing route runs 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday -  Friday. 

It will make stops at:

  • Samson Pavilion
  • Ford and Juniper
  • KSL East Blvd
  • 1-2-1/ Veale
  • Fribley/Murray Hill

This full loop will take 19 minutes in light traffic and 23 minutes in heavy traffic.

 

Main Route After Hours

The Main route runs continuously beginning at 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The shuttle stops at:

  • Samson Pavilion
  • Crawford Hall (street)
  • Kent Hale Smith 
  • Cornell Rd
  • Kelvin Smith Library
  • Fribley Commons
  • Ford & Juniper
  • NRV

This full route will take approximately 20 minutes with light traffic, and 25 minutes with heavy traffic

 

West Campus Shuttle

All shuttles at the West Quad facility are destined for the HEC Students, staff, and Cleveland Clinic employees to ride the same shuttles.

A specific shuttle will transport those who park on West Campus to Health Education Campus.

Shuttles will operate Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1 am during peak hours (6–9 am and 3–6 pm), shuttles will depart every four minutes; during off-peak hours (9 am-3 pm and 6 pm-1 am), shuttles will depart every 20 minutes. 

Multiple shuttles will run daily, through a partnership with Cleveland Clinic Transportation Services, with stops at:

  • Health Education Campus (Samson Pavilion) on East 93rd Street, south of Chester Avenue
  • West Campus, Lot 14
  • East 96th Street

Off-Hour Routes

Individuals traveling between the Health Education and CWRU main campus also may request a Safe Ride between 7 pm and 3 am at saferide.case.edu or by calling 216.368.3000.
