Angela Whidden is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) and a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology (EdD). Dr. Whidden has a diverse background working in early childhood & family therapy as well as addiction medicine in integrated healthcare. She has served these populations in Chicago, West Michigan, Hawai`i, Appalachia and Greater Cleveland.

Dr. Whidden is certified as a Trauma-Informed Care Trainer (SAMSHA) and Integrated Behavioral Health and Primary Care (University of Michigan) with special training in trauma-informed Harm Reduction Therapy. Dr. Whidden is currently a clinical instructor at the Mandel School.
