Whether you plan to work in clinical or community settings—with children, adults or families, in healthcare systems, schools or community mental health agencies—you will encounter trauma and adversity in your work. In this path, you will:
- Build the skills and evidence-based practice needed to work effectively and ethically with individuals and communities impacted by trauma
- Develop practical tools to support recovery, promote resilience and foster well-being, while also learning strategies to care for yourself and sustain your impact over time
- Gain focused, integrated training in trauma-informed and healing-centered approaches, including attention to the neurobiology of trauma, community-level trauma and culturally responsive paths to healing
By graduation, you’ll be equipped to recognize trauma at both individual and community levels and to help create environments that support healing, safety and long-term change.
