David B. Miller is an associate professor at the Mandel School and the OMEGA Project Engagement Officer. His current research focus is on the health status of African American males. He is currently investigating the awareness and knowledge of African American males regarding prostate cancer and the effects of chronic stress on adolescents and young adults.

Why I Chose This Profession

At some point in our lives, we are all going to need the assistance of others, and when that time arrives, through social work, I wanted to be the person offering assistance without conditions or judgement.
