Jeremy Evenden, MSSA, MBA, LISW-S, is the Manager of CEBP Accounts and a Senior Consultant and Trainer at the Center for Evidence-Based Practices (CEBP) at Case Western Reserve University. In this role, he provides oversight and management of contractual business for the CEBP. Additionally, he provides technical assistance (program and clinical consultation, training, and evaluation) to service systems and organizations that are implementing evidence-based practices, emerging best practices, and other strategies that improve quality of life and other outcomes for people diagnosed with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. He also provides consultation and training to supervisors and staff in adult and child behavioral health, criminal justice, child welfare, primary care, social service, peer-facilitated, and self-help organizations in a variety of practices including:
- Leadership, Supervision and EBP Implementation Approaches
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
- Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT)
- Dual Diagnosis Capability in Addiction Treatment (DDCAT)
- Dual Diagnosis Capability in Mental Health Treatment (DDCMHT)
- Tobacco Recovery Across the Continuum (TRAC)
Mr. Evenden is an adjunct instructor at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, where he teaches Motivational Interviewing to master-level social work students. Prior to joining the CEBP, he worked in community behavioral health as a case manager, therapist, and clinical services coordinator where he obtained experience implementing IDDT, MI, Supported Employment (SE), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Mr. Evenden is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), an international organization of trainers in Motivational Interviewing. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, a Master of Science in Social Administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, and a Master of Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
