Karen J. Ishler, a 2013 graduate of the Mandel School's PhD program, works in the Office of Educational Outcomes Assessment and serves as a methodological and statistical consultant for the PhD program. She also collaborates on multiple research projects at the school.
In addition, Ishler supports the Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research (OIIER) at Case Western Reserve University, where she helps direct the evaluation of programming that brings together early learners from across the health professions to address real-world needs identified by local nonprofit organizations.
Her primary research interests include family caregiving and the physical and mental well-being of older couples.
