Kari O’Donnell, PhD

Kari is a graduate of the Mandel School PhD program (2024). She obtained her M.A. from George Washington University in women’s studies and her B.A. from John Carroll University in English. At Mandel, she works for the Center on Trauma and Adversity as a research associate.  Kari has been a social science researcher for more than a decade with a background in large administrative datasets, survey methodology, and data collection. Dr. O’Donnell has worked on number of federal grants and contracts focusing on public health, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, and military sexual violence. Her teaching and scholarship interests are centered on methodological advancement including measure development and identification of fraudulent data.
