Director of Annual and Special Giving
Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences
Lia Hones currently serves as the Director of Annual and Special Giving at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Prior to the Mandel School, Lia worked at Downtown Cleveland, Inc. as their Director of Advancement where she led the organization’s fundraising initiatives to advance the mission of building a vibrant Downtown Cleveland. She also worked at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Development Representative to support its fundraising programs throughout Ohio.
Lia earned her degree in Public Policy, Management, and Leadership specializing in Nonprofit Management from The Ohio State University. She is excited to support the Mandel School and continue to make a difference in the community.
