Wendy Boerger is the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration for the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Since 2019, she has served as a Research Business Analyst and Senior Research Business Analyst at The MetroHealth Research Institute, managing and overseeing research finances and operations with annual budgets close to $35 million.

Prior to her role at MetroHealth, from 2011 to 2019, Wendy was a Department Administrator at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research & Education, within the Mandel School. She played a key role in start up and growth of the Begun Center, including grants management, hiring of all new staff and strategic planning for sustainability.

Wendy holds a BA and an MBA from Ohio University, equipping her with a strong foundation in finances and administration. She has extensive experience in research administration from both her work at The Begun Center and the MetroHealth Research Institute, including direct work with federal agencies such as NIH, NSF, DoD, DoJ, HRSA, PCORI, CDC and many state agencies and foundations.
