Event Description
Join Lisa Strausbaugh, assistant director of admissions, to learn about the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University’s Master of Social Work. Discover why US News and World Report ranks us #9 in the nation and #1 in Ohio, and meet current second-year Community Practice for Social Change student Ewurabena K. from Ghana.
Admissions staff will share how “Equity. Innovation. Transformation.” are embedded into the Mandel experience. We will review our innovative curriculum including Interprofessional Education, outstanding Field Education and our five dual degree options. Discover how our nine research centers strengthen students' experiences.
Learn about our three formats (full-time on-campus, part-time online and part-time weekend) and nine paths of study, as well as the admissions process and how to make your application stand out. Recognize what makes us unique, from international short-term study abroad trips to specialized trauma training opportunities and more.
Second-year Health student Agatha, from Nigeria, Mental Health with Adults student Jackie, from California, and Mental Health with Children & Adolescents student Ally, from Toledo, Ohio, will also join the event.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the event. We look forward to you joining us!
