Program

Clarinet Choir, Brass Ensemble, and Harmonie Winds

Join the CWRU Chamber Collective for an engaging evening of chamber music featuring performances by the Clarinet Choir, Brass Ensemble, and Harmonie Winds. This collaborative concert highlights a diverse program of works showcasing the color, energy, and versatility of wind and brass ensembles.

The program includes selections such as The Great Locomotive Chase, Danse Macabre, Tijuana Taxi, and Thunder and Lightning Polka, offering a dynamic range of styles—from dramatic to lively and playful.

About the Group

Founded in Fall 2022, the CWRU Chamber Collective offers the university community the opportunity to make music in a fully student-led environment. The Collective includes larger ensembles such as the Brass Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, and Harmonie Winds, alongside small groups and combos that provide flexible, collaborative performance opportunities.

Across all ensembles, students take full responsibility for repertoire selection, rehearsal planning, and artistic direction, creating a dynamic space for musical exploration beyond traditional ensemble structures.
