Houston MSA program participates in annual MD Anderson Boot Walk to End Cancer

The CWRU MSA Houston program participated in the annual MD Anderson Boot Walk to End Cancer event on Saturday, November 8th, 2019. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a comprehensive cancer center in Houston, Texas and is one of the original three comprehensive cancer centers in the country. It is both a degree-granting academic institution and a cancer treatment and research center located at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Together, the Houston MSA students, faculty, clinical instructors, and staff raised over $1500 to help bring the overall grand total to $2.1 million dollars raised. 100% of the proceeds from the Boot Walk go to improvements in cancer care delivery and availability for those touched by cancer, and development of better diagnostic tools and tests that improve early detection, treatments and quality of life for cancer survivors.
