Staff Awards Committee

The staff awards committee has three permanent members plus four others selected by the permanent members. The permanent members are the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, the Assistant Dean of Diversity and Inclusion (MSASS), and the prior year’s Benson award recipient. The additional four members will change each year and every attempt will be made to achieve diversity in gender, race, and the various faculty and staff levels. This committee will determine the recipients for both the Benson and MSASSy awards.

Staff Awards Event

The above awards will be announced at an annual Staff Awards Celebration which will typically be held in February. The awards are for the prior calendar year. While Finance and Administration will solicit nominations and advertise the event, the seven committee members are responsible for planning and carrying out the event.
