Learn about the Student Mental Health Fund

University Health and Counseling Services earned an 18-month grant from the Ohio Department of Education to support students in accessing the mental health care they need.

The grant will expand the Outreach, Assessment, Resources and Response team and launch a new mental health care fund, through which students with financial need can request monetary support for mental health services—from therapy copays to medications.

Undergraduate, graduate and professional students with financial need can apply through MyHealthConnect for up to $500 per semester. These funds must be used for financial costs associated with receiving mental health care, including psychiatric medication or psychological testing and assessment.

To apply for the Student Mental Health Fund:

  • Visit myhealthconnect.case.edu
  • Select “Send or Read a Secure Message”
  • Select “New Message”
  • Choose “I want to submit an application for the Student Mental Health Fund”

Students will need to submit documentation indicating how the funding will be used.
