Case recycles many materials, including:
- White office paper
- Mixed fiber paper (like magazines and newspaper)
- Aluminum
- Glass
- Plastics
- Cardboard
- Batteries
Recycling bins are located throughout residence halls, academic, administrative buildings, and lab and medical facilities. The bins are labeled indicating the type of material they collect. The contents from the bins are retrieved by Facilities Services personnel, often as part of garbage collection and the recyclable material is processed at the campus recycling center.
Case also recycles computers, batteries, printing cartridges, scrap metal, cell phones and safely discards paint, florescent lighting and other materials. More information is available on the sustainability website.
