Rave Alert System

The Rave alert system is a text and voice messaging alert system that is used only in the case of imminent danger or a serious threat to the campus community. Rave is also used to notify the CWRU community of campus closings due to severe weather. In case of a major campus emergency, Case Western Reserve University will utilize the Rave text and voice messaging alert system, among other methods of communicating with faculty, staff and students. Additional information regarding campus emergencies that call for the use of Rave system will be found on the university's main home page.

This emergency notification capability is an opt-out system. All personnel that would be expected to be on campus, including but not limited to students, employees, temporary employees of CWRU and contractors, hospital (UH, MetroHealth) and UCI affiliates (CIA, CIM) and the Board of Trustees have been automatically added to the new Rave system. In addition, previous WARN users have had their information automatically migrated from the WARN system.

Users may access Rave to update their personal information or to opt out of the system.
