The Case Comprehensive Cancer Center is proud to introduce Cancer InFocus Ohio.
Cancer InFocus Ohio is an interactive resource designed to help community outreach professionals better understand cancer needs across Ohio and use local data to guide action.
What: Understand Cancer in Your Community
Cancer InFocus Ohio brings together information about cancer cases and deaths, risk factors, and social drivers of health to provide a clearer picture of the factors affecting communities across the state.
Explore cancer patterns at the county level and examine risk factors and social drivers of health at the census tract level to better understand the communities you serve.
Why: Identify Local Needs and Disparities
Cancer affects every community differently. Access to care, transportation, income, health behaviors, and other local factors can influence cancer risk and outcomes.
Cancer InFocus Ohio helps make these differences visible, allowing outreach professionals and community partners to identify areas of need, better understand barriers to cancer prevention and care, and recognize disparities that may require additional attention.
How: Turn Local Insights Into Action
Use Cancer InFocus Ohio to compare communities, explore multiple data layers, and identify patterns that can help guide outreach, education, prevention efforts, partnerships, and resource planning.
By connecting cancer data with the realities facing individual communities, Cancer InFocus Ohio can help organizations focus their efforts where they may have the greatest impact — supporting more informed, responsive, and equitable cancer outreach across Ohio.
