Carolyn Hicks, Assistant Director of Programming Operations at Case CCC, has received a Staff Participation Achievement (SPARTA) Award from Case Western Reserve University in recognition of her contributions to the university community.
Her colleagues describe her as a welcoming presence who is always ready to help, recognizing when someone needs support and stepping in with a solution.
“Carolyn is always a welcoming presence at our front desk. She greets all with a smile, and offer a fun fact or appreciation of a common interest. She works with all members of the Cancer Center and is willing to lend support when she recognizes a need, she simply steps in with a solution. Her support comes from a number of small things that build to something incredibly helpful. She isn't above taking on any task that is helpful.”
The SPARTA Award recognizes CWRU staff members who go above and beyond to support colleagues and contribute to a positive campus community.
Congratulations to Carolyn on this well-deserved recognition!
