This week, Case CCC hosted the Cellular Plasticity and Tumor Ecosystem Conference, bringing together researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders to explore how cancer cells adapt, evolve, and interact with their surrounding environment.
Building on the success of previous internationally recognized Cancer Stem Cell meetings hosted by Case CCC, this year’s conference highlighted emerging discoveries that are reshaping our understanding of tumor biology and therapeutic resistance.
Sessions focused on key areas of cancer research, including cancer neuroscience, immune interactions, metabolism, druggable targets, epigenetic regulation, and new technologies driving discovery.
By examining the dynamic relationships between tumor cells and the ecosystems that support them, investigators discussed new approaches for developing more precise and effective cancer treatments. The meeting provided opportunities for scientific exchange, collaboration, and the advancement of research strategies aimed at translating fundamental discoveries into improved patient outcomes.
