Agata Exner Lab Reports New Approach for Plasmid DNA Delivery

A new preprint from the lab of Case CCC Cancer Imaging Program Co-leader Agata Exner, PhD, describes the use of cationic nanobubbles combined with ultrasound to deliver plasmid DNA to the mouse liver.

The study explores a nonviral approach for gene delivery, using ultrasound to help facilitate the delivery of DNA-loaded nanobubbles in a preclinical model. The findings add to ongoing research into nanobubble-based technologies for targeted delivery of genetic material.
