Lukas Nystrom, MD is a staff physician in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Iowa and a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Florida. He specializes in the surgical treatment of musculoskeletal tumors.
Research Information
Research Interests
Dr. Nystrom is currently working with a small animal model of metastatic bone disease seeking to identify the optimal timing of the delivery of radiation therapy in the setting of a pathologic fracture. He is collaborating across multiple disciplines and aims to expand this model to primary bone sarcoma.
