Tenesha Connor, a graduate student in the lab of Case CCC Cancer Imaging Program member Murat Yildirim, PhD, has been selected to receive the 2026 Andrew Parsa Young Investigator Award from the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO).

Connor has been leading the lab’s research focused on glioblastoma (GBM) and cancer neuroscience. She will present the team’s research at the 2026 SNO Annual Meeting, taking place in Philadelphia in November.

Yildirim said the award recognizes Connor’s hard work and the lab’s emerging cancer neuroscience research, adding that he is proud of her progress and looks forward to her presentation at SNO.
