At a national forum hosted by Case Western Reserve University in April 2024, 34 participants from across the country called for amplifying patient voices, advancing APRN research, strengthening workforce data, reimbursement, and legal protections, and fostering interprofessional collaboration and public advocacy.
Research on Nursing Leadership Science
Our team leads national research on the impact of nurse leadership on work engagement, healthy work environment perceptions, and patient satisfaction, with plans to expand the research to additional nurse and patient outcomes.
Documentary Premiere
In partnership with Carolyn Jones Productions, we profiled nurses and nurse-midwives addressing the U.S. maternal health crisis. The world premiere was at the Cleveland International Film Festival in April 2024 and the New York City premiere in May 2025 at Lincoln Center. The global premiere took place at the International Council of Nurses's Congress 2025 in Helsinki, Finland.
