Jay has nearly 20 years of experience working with education data, both with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and with Cuyahoga Community College. With CMSD, he worked in institutional research before leading the state data reporting team. At Tri-C, he provided research and analysis to support student success and other institutional strategic decisions, led the use of national survey results, and headed the collection and use of national transfer data.

Jay earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Cleveland State University and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Kent State University.
