Kelly Schmidt joined the Mandel School as a Student Advancement Specialist after working as the coordinator at CWRU’s Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL). An alum of the Mandel School (SAS ‘18), she's excited to return as a staff member and to work directly with students to help navigate questions, needs, and resources. Kelly earned her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Steven Point, and discovered community practice social work while completing her Peace Corps service in the Philippines. She has also worked as a Case Coordinator with foster youth and families in Cleveland.
