Clarification on Mandel School/Center Mailing Address vs. Campus Locations

Hello everyone,

Despite most of us still working from home, I wanted to take a moment to clarify a few issues we've had with our addresses over the years. We want to make sure you list the appropriate address in your email signatures, on letters, in publications, etc., as well as have your mail delivered to you hassle-free.

As noted in the footer of all of our websites:

Our one mailing address is:

10900 Euclid Avenue
Cleveland, OH 44106-7164
*when using this address, you must include the 4-digit zip code (-7164) to differentiate Mandel mail from the rest of the university mail

Our two campus locations are:

Mandel School
11235 Bellflower Road
Cleveland, OH 44106

Mandel Center
11402 Bellflower Road
Cleveland, OH 44106

*note there is no 4-digit zip code associate with these addresses

CWRU sorts all of the mail sent to the university at one location using the 4-digit zip code listed (-7164) and distributes appropriately using Campus Mail staff. You may add our building name for further clarification, but you do not need to add your office/suite/room number. Please do not use the zip code lookup feature on USPS's website or Google Maps to determine our addresses/zip codes—they do not follow the university's system and can allow for mail to get lost.

Mail is delivered to the Mandel School and sorted into the mailboxes in the room behind the receptionist's desk. Campus Mail does not deliver mail to the Mandel Center, as there are no mailboxes there. Therefore, all mail being sent through USPS needs to be sent to our one mailing address.

For package deliveries via UPS/FedEx/etc. and instructing visitors to you on campus, please list the campus location where your office is located.

As Craig has noted in his building updates, mail will continue to be delivered on campus during this time but on a reduced schedule. It will be distributed to individual and department mailboxes in the room behind the receptionist's desk in the Mandel building. However, those faculty or staff who are anticipating items are welcome to check through any unsorted mail. Outgoing mail (via USPS) should be placed directly into a USPS mailbox (boxes are located around campus) or delivered to the post office. Campus mail should be placed in the campus mailbox in front of the Mandel building, next to the Harris Library book return.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
