As the spring semester draws to a close, you may be thinking ahead to how you can continue your academic journey during the summer months. Case Western Reserve offers a wide range of opportunities to do just that—through summer courses, undergraduate research, housing, meal plans and plenty of summer activities.
This summer, Weatherhead School of Management is offering several courses—both online and in-person—that can apply to any major or future career. Not a business major? Not a problem.
Some Weatherhead summer courses include:
- Essentials of Personal Finance (MGMT 205)
- Foundations of Accounting (ACCT 100)
- Leading People (ORBH 250)
- Leading Organizations (ORBH 251)
- Industry Project Experience - Global Career Accelerator (MGMT 299)
- Economics of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (ECON/ORBH 431)
It is important to note that while summer courses are not covered under standard academic-year tuition, courses numbered 100-399 are offered at half the price of the fall and spring semesters.
In addition to coursework, CWRU is also expanding undergraduate research opportunities this summer through the Office of Undergraduate Research, giving more students the chance to participate in hands-on learning experiences in the lab, in the field or in the archive.
If you choose to remain in Cleveland for the summer, you can also take advantage of expanded housing, a newly-introduced meal plan option, and many exciting summer activities.
