The campus community is invited to the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Friday, Jan. 19, at 12:45 p.m. with keynote speaker Tiffany Cross, media personality and political analyst.
She is the former host of The Cross Connection on MSNBC and a 2020 Resident Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics. A longtime cable news veteran, Cross previously served as the D.C. Bureau Chief for BET Networks, an associate producer for CNN and a freelance field producer. Cross also spent time on the campaign trail having both covered and worked on numerous local, state and federal campaigns.

Each year, Case Western Reserve University honors Martin Luther King Jr.—the holiday, the man and the legacy—with a celebration that includes a range of activities including workshops, films, panel discussions and acclaimed speakers. All members of the university and the community at large are invited to observe King's holiday and recognize his commitment to social justice and global peace.
