Sudha K. Iyengar, PhD, a member of Case CCC's Cancer Genomics and Epigenomics Program, will be invested as the Frederick C. Robbins, M.D., Professor in Child and Adolescent Health.
An internationally recognized genetic epidemiologist, Iyengar leads groundbreaking research to identify the genetic basis of complex diseases using large-scale genomic and computational approaches.
Her work has expanded understanding of numerous disorders and continues to advance precision medicine.
Chris Flask, PhD, a member of Case CCC's Cancer Imaging Program, will be invested as the Thomas F. Peterson, Jr. Professor in Imaging Research and Innovation.
Flask, a professor of Radiology, Biomedical Engineering, and Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University, has advanced imaging research through the development of innovative MRI biomarkers that support clinical trials and therapeutic development for children and young adults with rare diseases.
His work continues to improve patient care while fostering the next generation of researchers and clinicians.
