Dr. Syed is Associate Professor in the Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences and Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist at the CWRU School of Dental Medicine, and provides radiographic readings and interpretations for 2D and 3D (CBCT) imaging. In addition to providing reports to the school, his services are available for the community at large.
Dr. Syed earned his dental degree from A.E.C.S Maaruthi Dental College and Research Centre, Bangalore University, India and taught general dentistry to medical students for a brief stint at C.M.S Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur, Nepal. His other major educational qualifications include a master’s degree in Health Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and completion of an advanced fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ. In addition to the fellowship, Dr. Syed also completed advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, earning both a certificate and master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
