The School of Dental Medicine’s Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (OMR) clinic offers the most advanced diagnostic imaging to health care professionals. This imaging facility specializes in head and neck region. The clinic is equipped with brand new equipment and provides a very wide range of diagnostic work up. All extramural imaging studies are accompanied by a written interpretive report by a faculty who is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (Board Certified).
The clinic has received accreditation of its Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scans through RadSite—making the school the first in Ohio to receive this accreditation.
Cone Beam CT Interpretation includes:
- Implant site assessment
- Temporomandibular joint disorders
- Pathology involving the jaws
- Impactions
