Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For an adult appointment (ages 18+), call 216.368.8730.
For a pediatric appointment, call 216.368.6185.
New patient appointments are available at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.
1st Appointment – Screening
At this appointment, we will:
- Discuss and sign consent forms
- Obtain your medical and dental history and have you sign the completed form (Click here to see a Sample Information Form)
- Conduct a comprehensive oral examination
- Perform an oral cancer screening
- Request information and/or clearance from your physician (if indicated)
- Accept payment for the examination and any x-rays taken
2nd Appointment – Comprehensive Examination
At this appointment, we will:
- Examine your teeth and tooth pockets and conduct a risk assessment
- Conduct nutrition counseling and discuss oral hygiene instructions
- Obtain diagnostic impressions of your mouth
- Accept payment for any diagnostic casts needed
- Discuss treatment options and develop a treatment plan
Third Appointment - Beginning of Treatment
At this appointment, we will:
- Clean teeth (prophylaxis)
- Conduct fluoride varnish treatment
- Conduct a deep-cleaning, if indicated
- Complete any remaining procedures not completed in previous visits
- Obtain a consultation to specialty departments, if indicated
Important Information About Dental Care in Our Clinics
- Patients are only seen by appointment, including dental emergencies.
- Patients are expected to arrive on time for appointments and remain for the entire appointment.
- Every effort is made to accommodate appointment changes, provided we have 24-hour notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- In an effort to ensure the safety and comfort of all, patients are asked to make arrangements for the care of young children and dependent adults during dental appointments. Children and dependent adults are not permitted in the treatment areas and should not be left unattended in any part of the building.
- An hourly fee is charged for parking.
- Cell phones must be turned off during dental appointments.
- Case Western Reserve University is a smoke-free campus.
