Join us in welcoming our newest Advisory Board members, Visiting Scholar, and Postdoctoral Fellow to the Inamori Center!

Inamori Center Advisory Board member, Madeline Chung is a health disparities researcher and Case Western Reserve University alumna, earning her master’s degree in bioethics. She serves as a patient caregiver and is the Editor-in-Chief of The Dose Newsletter at Universities Allied for Essential Medicines.

Inamori Center Advisory Board member, Dr. Tracy Nájera is the Vice President of U.S. Programs for UNICEF USA. In this role she oversees a critical strategic priority of UNICEF USA to improve the well-being of vulnerable children in the United States.

Prof. Valerie Morkevičius, Associate Professor and Chair of Political Science at Colgate University, is the newest Inamori Visiting Distinguished Scholar in Military Ethics. In the Spring 2024 semester, Prof. Morkevičius will teach Philosophy: 336/436: Military Ethics, the Military Profession, and International Law.

Dr. Émile Torres is the newest Inamori Center postdoctoral scholar. They will focus on biotechnology, quantum computing, and other projects to help ensure that ethical considerations are integrated into every aspect of research and development. Dr. Torres recently earned their PhD in philosophy at Leibniz Universität Hannover in Germany.
